The Toronto Blue Jays received some bad news earlier today when news broke that Troy Tulowitzki is likely done for the season.

Tulowitzki is moved to the 60-day DL, according to Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590.

Tulowitzki, 32, is still recovering from significant ligament damage in his ankle and may need surgery to address the issue.

Tulowitzki has struggled all season, thanks in part to multiple stints on the disabled list, posting career worsts in production.

Tulowitzki was diagnosed with ligament damage to his right ankle shortly after hitting the DL on July 29th and it is being reported by CBS Sports that surgery won’t prohibit him from participating in spring training in 2018.
