Multiple sources reported Wednesday evening that Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost suffered a broken pelvis at his property near Atlanta, Georgia.
Yost, 62, is said to have fell off a tree stand while working outside.
The Royals have confirmed that Yost is resting comfortably at an Atlanta hospital and is expected to fully recover.
2018 marks the final year on Yost’s contract with the Royals. Since taking over as manager in May 2010, he’s led the team to a 629-632 record, two pennants, and one World Series championship.
