World Series Game 6 Preview, Game 2 Rematch: Justin Verlander Vs Rich Hill

Published

on

After Sunday night’s thrilling Game 5, the Houston Astros are just one win away from winning their first World Series title.

The series shifts to Los Angeles for the final two games (if necessary), and tonight’s Game 6 features a rematch of the Game 2 starters, Justin Verlander of Houston and Rich Hill of LA.

Both starters received no-decisions in last Wednesday’s 7-6 Astros win in 11 innings. Verlander allowed three earned runs in six innings, while Hill struck out seven in four innings of one-run ball.

Houston looks to clinch the series with their workhorse going (added on August 31 for this very reason), and Los Angeles simply looks to stay alive for a Game 7 tomorrow night.
