Per the report, the Giants are interested in second base prospect Mauricio Dubon.

Smith has had a solid season in 2019, pitching to an impressive 2.17 ERA.

New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard is drawing some interest as the trade deadline approaches.

According to MLB.com’s Jon Morosi, the Houston Astros and the Milwaukee Brewers are two teams that are monitoring Syndergaard as the deadline approaches.

The MLB trade deadline is July 31st.

Per the report, the Mets “aren’t soliciting offers,” and the cost “would have to be high” if they were to move Syndergaard.

Syndergaard, 26, has struggled this season, but a change of scenery may get him back on track. So far this season, he has posted a 4.68 ERA, but has showed ace potential in the past.
